As an ABPI Code final signatory, Dr Jackson-McGill is responsible for ensuring pharmaceutical information meets the strict standards set by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The code is designed to protect patients and promotes responsible, factual health communication.
Dr Jackson-McGill is Medical Director of medDigital, the digital health information company he co-founded in 2008. He brings academic rigour and hands-on medical experience to his work. Dr Jackson-McGill has worked for more than 20 years in clinical practice and pharmaceutical medicine, with expertise in allergy and other long-term conditions. He is a visiting lecturer in pharmaceutical medicine at King’s College London and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. He also chairs the faculty’s New Technologies Expert Group, which assesses emerging medical tools and innovations.
Outside his professional work, Dr Jackson-McGill volunteers as Medical Coordinator for Surrey Search and Rescue, supporting emergency services in finding missing vulnerable adults and children.
